I just started playing WOW on my V4000T today for the first time. I am playing with it on the desk and on AC power. Most of my game settings are turned on and set to high.

After playing for about 30-45 minutes my laptop just restarted itself in the middle of the game. At first I thought maybe I accidentally pressed the power button or something and started playing again. However, after about 15 minutes or so it did the same thing and restarted itself. My V4000T is only 3 days out of the box.

I have been seeing some posts lately about the 128MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X700 getting too hot and overheating. Would this be the cause of it restarting itself? If this is the case I am extremely disappointed, as I bought this V4000T to be able to do some gaming.

    - 1280MB DDR2 SDRAM (1x256MB + 1x1024MB)

As far as I know all the software is up to date. Please help.

    Thanks.

Do you have a cooling pad? I play a lot of BF2 and I know the temps get pretty high. A cooling pad is pretty much a must for a hardcore gamer.
