Just wondering for all of you that have the v4000t, does the 12 cell battery stick out of the bottom like it does on the v2000, or does it sit flush with the bottom of the notebook. Also, what kind of battery life are you guys getting with these? Thanks for any help.

Yes it does stick out the bottom. I don't have the v4000t, but my guess would be in the five to six hour range as long as you are not gaming.

I doubt I will be doing any gaming since HP removed the X700 from this notebook, and replaced it with integrated intel. This will mostly just be for web surfing and movie watching. So does anyone know how much battery life the 6 cell will get me?

Don't want to make a new thread, but I ordered a V2000Z with the 12-cell. Does the 6-cell sit flush? If so, I may have to buy one. I wish I would've known about this via the hpshopping website. :(

Yes, the 6 cell sits flush with the v2000Z. If you go to the website, and customize the v2000Z when you get to the battery section, it shows what the computer looks like with the 12cell, and the 6cell.

Yeah, my friend and I just looked (he also ordered one) and we both agree that those pictures are new. They kind of redesigned the layout, so I wouldn't doubt it. Oh well. Now I have to decide if I want a flush battery, and if I should go non-OEM or not. $60 vs $130 is quite a difference.
