I have the dv9023us with HP TV Tuner and Windows Media Center. I can watch and record TV directly from the satellite set top box. However, I cannot get the VCR (actually the video super 8 camera) to be recognized so that I copy video from there to the PC. If I run the output cables from the camera to the TV input, the tapes show just fine. However, I have no way of running cables from the TV to the TV tuner, which is why I'm running them straight from the camera's output ports. Is there special software I need? Or do I just have no idea what I'm doing? <g> If that's the case, it would be just great if somebody could give me step by step instructions.

    Thanks,
    Linda

While playing some video, try getting the tv software to rescan and add new channels.

I'm guessing that you're using a normal TV cable from the camera to the TV card?

I tried to get Media Center to do the TV signal setup, and it would not recognize any signal coming from the VCR. I'm using the RCA cables, red, white, and yellow, to the tuner.

    Thanks,
