This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi I'm working with a dv6000 HP notebook, I can't seem to get my VGA port to work and I'm wondering if it could possibly be broken. I had my laptop switched out a few months ago and before I never had any issue I always just plugged it in and it worked. I have now tried plugging it into my TV which worked with the previous laptop and a desktop monitor neither luck on either display. It seems to connect and the computer sees the display but displays nothing. I don't know what could be up and ideas as to where to start?
