Anybody know where I can buy a good reliable VGA cable male to male 15 pin to connect my dv6449se to my Samsung HDTV LN4061F. I've been looking on the web but most are of lesser quality or expensive.
Thanks![]()

I was hoping for someone to refer me to a specific cable they had purchased and tried out for themselves. Thanks anyway

Belkin has been around for a while, check their stuff out.

another vote for monoprice.com. They are supported by the audio/video enthusiasts over at avsforum.com
go with the shortest length possible for better quality. cant beat the price either; its so cheap it wouldnt be worth your time to even look.

A cable is a cable...just get one from a name brand an you are good to go.

I'll check out monoprice. Thanks for the replies.

I've never noticed a difference between any of the VGA cables I've used, and they are all ones that either came with the monitor, or off-name brand ones I've found. With VGA it doesn't really matter what you go with, because you won't notice a difference.
That's my opinion. There is no point in you paying a lot of money for a VGA cable. -
VGA cables are analog and if you get them much longer than 2 meters you will see a loss in quality. If your TV has a DVI or HDMI input, I STRONGLY recommend you use that instead.

ive gotten 3 HDMI cables and 2 VGA cables from monoprice. All were solid quality. there is no reason to pay for a name brand.
I had a DVI to HDMI cable for my media center PC but then my 8800gt crapped out and i decided to go with the onboard graphics and use the 3ft VGA cable I posted above. Great picture on my 71" 1080p screen. I dont really game, just wanted an unecessarily bad ass system for my first PC build; once the 8800gt crapped out i got my 300.00 back and left it at that.
VGA cable
