    Hello,

I am interested to buy hp pavilion dt2500. I saw it in the shop in NY yesterday and I liked the imprint finish very much. But in the reviews of this website there are different versions of imprint finish:

What I find different and do not like is that flower/plant like looking ornament which was missing from the models yesterday. Is really certain variations in this finish design?

I have two friends that have a dv6500t laptop. Theres has a very low performance setup, mine doesn't. So i noticed that theres has a plain design on it. Mine doesn't. I dont konw if the design gets more intricate with the higher performing rigs. So thats my two cents. I know I'm not talking about the same laptop as in your thread but it helps.

Thank you. It's the same because I saw plain dv6500t notebooks too. Would there be possible to avoid this "radiance" feature during customization and just have plain imprint finish?

I haven't checked in a long time, but I do believe that you can get a "plain" matte finish. You can't get a "plain" imprint finish, however.

HP redisigned the imprint finish when they did the refresh, the plain matte is still available however. So no, you can't get the "wave" imprint finish.

Although i believe compaqs have a different design or there's always the dragon

Plain matte is ok too! :) could you give me any picture link to take a better look?

how would it possible to get dv2500 with plain matte but still be able to customize it with powerful features as I want?

You can't. With the dvX500 series, HP changed the looks to the imprint finish in your pics there. The only way to get a different design is to buy the dv6500t special edition, the white one.

:( radiance imprint finish is so feminine! in demos they even don't show guys using these laptops, only girls. What if someone does not like these curly radiance figures?

dv2000t seems not to have radiance. If I buy one, do they still have this high-pitched sound?

Actually, some dv2005t laptops seem to be darker on amazon website, is the color difference true or fake?:

If you're insecure with your masculinity, you get a free skin from SkinIt when you buy a Pavilion. You can also hire a therapist, preferably one who's also an analyst .
