I have an hp pavilion dv2807nr and i have 2 audio problems. First, when I plug in headphones, I can hear sound out of both the headphones and the speakers. Second, there is no stereo mix option for recording from my conexant high definition smart audio 221 card. Is there any way to activate it?

If you plug it in the SPDIF port (very left port), it will come out on both speakers and headphone. The middle hole is the real headphone jack.

If that doesnt work, i suggest downloading the latest drivers from your HP driver page.
