Just got an HDX16 and I was in the process of transferring some files, however, all of my videos seem to be stretched vertically. There must be a simple solution, I'm assuming it's due to the 16:9 aspect ratio because they play fine on my other computer. I just can't figure it outThey're .avi's in wmp if that matters.
I have to say it's great so far, my only problems are with vista. Also, would there happen to be any free .vob players that are compatible? Nothing seems to be working with vista, I would have thought it wouldn't be much of a problem at this point.
Thanks!![]()

Vista bashing is so 2007, really. Sure, the way HP sets it up is far from optimal, but you can easily fix that yourself. Or go for Windows 7.
Go grab the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack (comes with a full-featured and lightweight player called Media Player Classic, yes it plays vobs too) and be happy. Make sure to select EVR Custom Presenter in Media Player Classic options so you get GPU-accelerated playback, which helps on the battery life. -
That worked beautifully, thank you!
I have the free Windows 7 upgrade coming to me soon, you can be sure I'll take advantage of it.
