Very informative. What were the settings, if I might ask?
-
-
Processor speed and RAM info would be nice too -
-
With no offense meant, the fact that HP only offers the 8400M GS on their lower-end, and not even a GT on their higher, is really kind of insulting. The machine could do so much more.
-
I was curious to know, because my replacement HP will be coming in a week and a half or so with a GeForce 8400M GS. And now that I see you have basically the same system I'll be getting, except for screen size, I know exactly what to expect. Since I'll be using it as an Xbox360 substitute.... until GTA4 hits
I just have to hope it actually works! It is my third HP, second replacement, after all...
Now heres another question for you. Does it have proper HDMI? I mean, do you get both sound and video through HDMI or do you have to connect another cable for audio too? -
awesome man...thx for sharing
-
Did hp remove the 128mb nvidia 8400 video card for the dv2500t? All I see is a "64MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS".

Thanks for the link. Very informative.
-
Nice, I love them,
I've always want to do some game tests, but never can get this many games
Thanks! -
-
bump. How about others posting videos of other games I don't have too? lol
-
How do you get GoldenEye 007 64 running on your laptop? I would love to play it on mine.
-
Emulator. Only legal if you own the game for the N64.
-
Oh I see. I actually do have the game, which is why I want to play it on my laptop as well. Would you care to elaborate on where I can find the emulator and stuff? If not, that's ok as well, as I feel this may be against some forum rules.
-
Google is your best friend there.
-
i was just wondering... where did you get the driver for that nvidia 8400M GS?
Im trying to find a good one too for my 6500t nvidia 85400M GS -
Stickies...stickies...read the stickies...
-
holy crap - im impressed!
i just ordered a system with the 8400m gs and, of course, now that its too late - i started wondering if i should have gone with the 8600m gt
now, im not a gamer at all - but you never know - new laptop with new possibilities (this is my first notebook computer with discrete graphics - so gaming was never even an option before - lol)...
anyway - it looks like this thing is gonna be able to handle anything ill be throwing at it and more
thanks for the post!
