    Hi i stumbled across this site because i was having MAJOR trouble with my sound with vista home premium on my hp dv2000t (dv2023tu) the device wasnt starting or anything and i went nuts for a month without sound. THEN i read the post about drivers... my sound is "waikiki" and it is the XP version DRIVER but works great so THANKYOU soooooo much.!! i dont know how to express my gratitude... to EVERYone trying to figure this all out.

    Wow, thanks for the kind words. Welcome to the board, and I'm glad you have working sound now.

    If you haven't seen it posted here, a "beta" Vista audio driver for our notebooks is hopefully getting leaked to us from HP later this week for testing. You might check back here later in the week to see what comes of that. Hopefully that driver fixes the remaining nagging issues with the audio device.
