    Vista Clock Resets.

    My clock on my HP dv6000 resets every time it hybernates. Why?

    I'm using Vista.

    It could be a BIOS issue. Have you tried updating your BIOS to the latest version from the HP website?

    What time and date does it go back too?

    it's usually about 2 hours off.

    I should be up to date on HP updates, and it doesnt show anything availible for me.

    Check your time zone. I had the same problem up until I realized that the time zone was off. This should help. The only other reason it would be doing this, is the CMOS battery which I highly doubt is the problem, because then it would go back to the year 2000.

    Try it and lemme know how it goes.

    I was to frustrated that it kept resetting on me to realize the time zone thing.

    A couple of the nights I worked until 2am, not realizing that midnight had passed two hours before. :eek:
