If they are newer models, you should expect drivers to be available around Vista's release date. If they are older, the manufacturer might not bother. But Vista has built-in support for a huge number of devices anyway... I wouldn't expect major problems with your devices.

    Indeed.

I'm currently running Vista on all three of my computers, and they all work fine.

Printer as well. Vista installed the drivers for it automatically.

Most certainly, video card drivers and etc. HP, for example, will release most drivers online.

The more I look into the issue, the more I am concerned with features like QuickPlay. That's something that HP most likely will not bother to release to all existing HP users. But you know..next time, if i drop by Best Buy or Office Max, I am going to bring a portable drive...just to copy that QuickPlay off the demo machines.

Quickplay 2.1/2.3 works fine under Vista. NVidia drivers are available from Laptopvideo2go.com. Many printers are natively supported by Vista, but there are sure to be some that won't be covered. Such is the case with a a major OS update. Just be thankful it isn't W98/XP redux...

Of course, all of the above applies only to the X86 version. If you choose to go 64bit, be prepared for some difficulties.
