Last night the Vista Recovery DVDs were available for purchase upon customization and now they're not. Anyone know what's up?

What the OP refers to seems to already have been taken care of and the option is back on HP's site.

Well, now that I've already completed my purchase, what can I do? Do I have a certain window of time before I must purchase the recovery DVD? (This is for the dv2000t).

you can burn the disks once you get laptop via built in partitions. Save the money and do it yourself.

    Contact HP and complain.

They've been known to send out copies of the disks if people do that.
