    Vista Recycle Bin Issue

    This is actually a very silly issue. Every time I delete a file and/or empty my recycle bin, the recycle bin icon image disappears. And then I'd need to press F5 and refresh my desktop to get the image back. The weird thing is that the icon itself is still there because you can still see the text "Recycle Bin" but the image of the trashcan is not there.

    I've attached a picture of a desktop that shows the "invisible" icon on the top left. I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit.

    Any one have any ideas?

    Never mind, I tried everything I can think of short of repairing the OS from a boot DVD. In the end, I just used system restore and got the OS back to an earlier problem free state. The problem is now gone.
