Just remove SP1. Wait for it to be finished. I never bother with beta or other testing versions since their usually bound to screw up your machine. I'll wait for MS to finish and send it to my via Windows Update.

It's finished already. It's finished since January.
It can be something else though. How have you installed SP1? On a clean machine?

I installed SP1 and Outlook 2007 runs normally. You may try to repair the Office install or uninstall Outlook and reinistall it before uninstalling SP1.

I never install service packs when they first come out. I usually wait a couple months for Microsoft so fix all the glitches. I'm sure all of you remember what happened when SP2 came out for XP, crashes all over the place.

Yeah, that would always work (uninstalling), but have you tried other methods like repairing Office?

    tried it... didn't work

i'll just wait for the slipstreamed (Vista+SP1) version from M$ and have a clean install

Does this only happen on 2007 Office Outlook or on all 2007 Office products?
