I want to upgrade to Vista SP1 on my DV2535ea laptop but its not listed as an option on Windows Update.

A bit of reading around suggests that Conexant HD Audio is the culprit. Has anyone had any success is upgrading to SP1 on any DV2500 machine?

I was thinking of doing a manual install of SP1 but would be happier using Windows Update. Anyone know where I can get drivers from for the effected components to make Windows Update offer SP1?

    Thanks

yeah that sound driver IS the culprit. but just don't do anything abt it...like me! i didn't do anything...and yesterday SP1 was there in windows update. i just checked and my driver is now updated to 4.36 as required by SP1 (before that it wasn't). i am not really sure if my driver was updated after installing SP1 or before. but whatever it is, just wait and see and one day u'll get SP1 thru windows update =P
