I am currently using Vista Home Premium on my DV9000T laptop with the webcam built in. When I go to muvee or QuickPlay to record videos, it makes a really fast version of my clip that is cut off with normal sound. The clips that I filmed were test shots, 6 or 7 seconds. These were 1 second files! What do I do?

As now, nothing you can do, as HP "is trying" to fix the WebCam fast playback issue with Vista.
    Anyway, hope this helps.
