This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     nvm... i fixed my problem. you can lock this or whatever
    added explanation on problem and fix:


    I'm dual booting vista and XP on my dv9233cl (Vista installed first) and all was running great until i updated
    every time i tried to run XP i ran into this error:

    something happened to the bootmanager, so load up easyBCD and delete the XP entry and add it again.
    at least, that fixed my prob;em
