Hi! I currently upgraded my Vaio SZ to Vista and it has been nothing short of a nightmare as Sony has been pretty slack in getting drivers that actually work out and half of my hardware either doesn't work or still has little quirks. They also tell me they don't offer support for notebooks that didn't ship with it, so no help there. So, I was thinking of getting a notebook that has Vista preinstalled so I hopefully won't have any of the same hassles and can actually get some support if it does act up.

Anyway, I can get a DV2220US for a really good price right now (I will NEVER drop cash for an overpriced Vaio again) with Home Premium and was wondering if anyone else has recently purchased a DV2000Z with Vista preinstalled. Do you have any issues with it? Does eveything work (i.e. webcam, sound, wireless)? Thanks in advance!

I'm gonna guess that's a yes. There haven't been that many reports of Vista not working, except for the nvidia drivers not being the best. When I was at best buy playing with the dv2000 everything seemed good. Tried out the webcam and it was fine.
