    Hey guys:

I got a tx 1000 recently, with Vista installed already. But I am not so comfortable with Vista yet, hence I installed an Xp system and wiped out Vista in disc C. However, later I found a lot of drivers missing (for example, netcard and soundcard). So I had to recover to the Vista.

According to the manual, I just need to reboot the computer and Press F11 at the prompting screen. But it failed, and continued to process to XP again. My recovery disk F was intact, as I did nothing on it.

My conjecture is: the F11 recovery booting order was installed in the MBR, and when I installed the XP, it had been wiped at the same time. So my question is: how to activate the recovery process again to go back to Vista?

    1. is it possible to do anyting in the BIOS?
    2. is it possible to add some thing the C:\boot.ini file in the XP System, hence next time when I boot the computer, I can veer to Disk F to activate the recovery process there?
    3. Alternative solution may it be, can I find some drivers specifically designed for XP system and also for tx 1000? so I dont need to make every effort to be back to Vista.
    4. or you have other better tips?

Thank you very much for your reviewing and I am longing for your help.

Did you make a recovery disc? f11 on boot up menu.
