Is it just me (again) or do people here also have problems with sleep/hibernate?

I tried disabling hibernate in the power management but even what windows calls 'hybrid sleep' drains too much juice from an already short-life battery.

    The issues I have are:
    - Hibernate takes over 5 minutes to finish - much longer than XP (even my startup is faster)
    - I can't resume from hibernate on every attempt
    - When waking from sleep, taskbar does not work and most programs crash...

Thus, I am always shutting down and restarting these days...a nuissance

Are you running a lot of programs when you send it into hibernate?
