Ok, So I have the Envy 14 Beats Edition and when I plug in headphones, the laptop does not automatically change from "speaker volume" to "headphone volume". My 1 year old dv7t does this. Like there are independent volume levels for laptop speakers and headphones. Also, the headphones I use are Beats Solos...

Anyways, any help in this matter would be GREATLY appreciated. I have been looking at drivers, did the BIOS updated, SP update, and even called Envy support...and only ended up arguing with them about the battery life...and got a SLICE BATTERY for only like $30. :D

**(just tell them that you expect better battery life and that you only get less than 2 hours. get the case escalated. then a day later you get a call and a $150 voucher. With academic discount, you have a slice for $30 including shipping! )**
