Hi, I was considering buying the Voodoo Envy a:228 because of what it can do along with the fact that it is fairly small... and the paint job... I was wondering wether or not anybody has one and if they could tell me if it could do MINOR gaming, like Halo: Combat Evolved, and some games like Rome: Total War. Nothing too demanding, but it just need a few things to help me in long car rides. ;) Thanks.

Here is some of the specs if that helps anybody, I really need to know here, its the turning point on whether or not I get the Alienware m9750 or this... I am aware that its not a gaming machine, but I want to get a little bit out of it.

    CPU: AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-56 (35W)

    RAM: 2GB DDR2 PC2-5300

Hard Drive 1: Seagate 100 gig 7200 SATA

Video Card 1: UMA ATI RS485M, VRAM 128

Well, I hope that helped answer my question... If you need any more info, just ask.

I have another post with the FAQ, but I think im pretty solid on either this one or the m9750. I know that they're very different but im on the fence about it.

it should be able to play those games on low settings...though not 100% sure. something like the dell xps 1210 would work better....or even the lg z1.

the voodoo is just an msi notebook with a pretty paintjob. if the paintjob gets to you, you could consider the compal hgl30 with a paintjob from xoticpc. it is a good intermediate....
