This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    W7 and Skype

    When I was on Vista the Skype operation worked great. I used my webcam audio feature instead of a mic and had no problem.

    Now that I use W7 I can not use the webcam audio. I ran the echo test and the incoming voice is excellent but the outgoing voice does not work.

    According to Skype my 4.1.179 download is compatable with W7.

    Any suggestions greatly appeciated.
