I have a HP Envy 15. My usb 3.0 ports works great, but I just bought a usb 3.0 hub to use sort of like a docking station. It works fine most of the time, however... ->

I am using a "Zalman MH200-U3 USB 3.0 Dual Docking Station" (I use a 1.5tb & 2tb HDD). It's working fine when I connect the Zalman dock directly to the laptop usb 3.0 port. But when I connect the Zalman station via the usb 3.0 hub, W7 will ask me to reformat both harddrives.

I also have a usb 3.0 enclosure (with 2.5" 1tb drive) and I can connect it via the usb 3.0 hub without problems. But everytime I connect the Zalman dock via the usb 3.0 I get the same message about having to format my HDDs.

Anyone know why I have this problem? The usb 3.0 hub is mostly wasted when I can't connect the Zalman dock via the hub.....
