My webcam was working perfectly with all programs MSN, Quick play, etc. I then uninstalled Dorgem, as I didnt need it any longer. After that the webcam no longer works. In ooVoo, I get the blue light to turn on then it says "Could not be activated". Re installed Dorgem it says "Failed to connect" MSN gets the blue light to turn on but gray screen. QuickPlay has my webcam listed but the screen stays at QuickPlay and not blue light. I have done restart, system restore, uninstall HP Webcam and re install, Re install QuickPlay and a thread even stated to install Acer Crystal eye or something. Can someone PLEASE I beg of you help me. My computer 1 month old computer already had to be reformatted by HP and sent in now I have another problem. PLEASE HELP?

Do you have a chicony or ricoh webcam?
The Acer Drivers has worked flawlessly on nearly every chicony webcam. Are you sure you have installed it right? You dont just run the setup file that you download -
not sure which how to tell? I have a HP Webcam

This problem should be solved after installing Microsoft hotfix KB913812
