Do wide screens affect gaming, does the picture get stretched out , what other things do the wide screens affect ?
When someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles to frown about it but it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and punch the crap out of them

It mainly affects games because it's specifically programed to operate at specifc resolutions (usually 4:3 ratio resolutions). You can disable the screen stretching feature in either the BIOS and/or the Display Properties. I have also heard people mentioning that web pages come out stretched, but I haven't encountered any while using my NX7000.

I've also heard it only affects gaming. And I haven't had any stretching websites. Sometimes they only take up about 3/4 of the screen though, depending on how they were coded.
