    WIFI led blinking

    I have an HP 6510b qith Arch Linux and whenever there are available wifi nets the led blinks continuosly.
    This is average annoying.
    Ho Can I force it to stay on without blinking ?

    Does it blink the same way on other operatic systems? If so, it's probably a motherboard "feature". One thing you can do if you really don't want the light to blink, and don't mind loosing the light altogether, is to take the computer apart and put a piece of black tape over the LED to stop it from showing.

    Obvoiusly no.
    It blinks only with Arch Linux.

    When I used Xubuntu the light was off at all.

    But I'd like to see it on when a connection is established.
