    As I did not want to run out of disk space with the myriad of games I have purchased for my son. My external drive came in today. Its a

    Maxtor 250GB 7200RPM OneTouch Personal Storage External, Model A01C250

    Specifications:
    Capacity: 250GB
    Average Seek Time: 9.3 ms
    Buffer: 8MB
    Rotational Speed: 7200 RPM

    Kewl setup. I have been running my ZD7000 for several hours ( well mostly my son) and its heated up (normal I am told for this laptop) and games run flawlessly just as good if not better than on the original hard drive.

    I did reformat it to the NTFS system prior to use. Now I have GOBS of room and can leave substancial space on the laptop. BTW the external drive is virtually silent and does get warm to touch when working for a while. Never did hear the built in fan come on.
