This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Of course I'd want one with a core 2 duo t7200 or better, but I can't really find anywhere to buy one besides their website. There are resellers on eBay but they only have core duo.

    Where else can I look?

    Call HP and try to convince them to give you a discount if you buy directly from them rather than from another supplier. It sometimes does work.
    And you'll be sure to buy the right machine you want!
