    I purchased a hp pavilion dv6500t with preinstalled vista home premium and I am looking to dual boot it with XP. I heard that HP will send you a XP Professional recovery disk for $20 (may or may not be acurate).

    Can anyone confirm/deny this?

    u cant use the recovery disk. it is for ppl who already have xp installed from hp. u need to buy the edition from them or a shop
