I have an NW8000 that seems to have a dead pixel and am thinking about replacing the screen. I have tried the methods listed on the web about fixing it and I have had no luck so far.

My unit has the SXGA+ screen.

I am wondering if anyone has replaced a screen on the NW8000 (or NC8000) and where they may have gotten it from, or where a good place may be to buy replacement screens.

    Thanks! :)

Let me follow up with this......

Would I have any troubles if I replace the SXGA+ screen with a UXGA screen? As far as I know, the only difference in units that have the UXGA was just that, the UXGA screen itself....same video card.

    Thanks!
