The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Warning Outlook 2002 and below will not save password after Vista upgrade

    Just thought I pass this along to all of you. If you get a system with Vista or Upgrade to Vista your Outlook 2002 or earlier will not save password , requiring you to enter password before getting mail from server each time. This is a know issue with Microsoft and there is currently no fix since MS wants you to upgrade to Office 2007 or at least have Office 2003 which work fine.
