    Warranty Experience?

    I have the 2-year Accidental Express Repair warranty directly from HP on my dv2000t. The fan went out and my machine was totally burned up. It made a sound like a light bulb popping and then went blank. My question is this: When I send this back to HP are they going to just repair my machine or send me a new one. I have the dual core T2500, which is not offered on their site anymore. What do they do to replace what is needed? Is the process going to take forever or can I be up and running pretty soon? I don't have any experience with their repair center, so any info would be great.

    I believe the turnaround should be no more than a week atleast that is what I thought when reading the details of their express warranties. They should replace it with the same thing you have now, or better. If they don't then you may have to send it in twice. When you speak with them let them know you will accept nothing else. Nicely though.

    I am in luck I am 170 miles from memphis repair center. ofcourse I have sent it in twice because all they did was REINSTALL! so I put a note in the **** thing. I dont fault the repair facility, I fault the ghandi's that made out the service request. oh well computer was just sent out today should have it back thursday or so
