    One possibility:

I have one. HDTV looks GREAT on my 1680x1050 res display. The problem is that they've stopped making them and further software upgrades are doubtful. It can be a bit finicky. If you have good over-the-air TV reception it's an option. It does analog cable and unencrypted digital cable too (most digital cable tends to be encrypted though).

Otherwise you'll need a regular USB2.0 TV tuner, and I'll defer to the board to recommend a specific one. You might try browsing the selection and reviews on newegg.com.

    Try this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815116311

I have a zv5220us with AMD Athlon xp-m 3000+, 32mb nvidia gpu...TV quality on your lappy will look exactly as it does on your TV. Channels with cleaner signals will obviously look better. Video quality is very good when watching TV, but time-shifting is very choppy. I suspect it's because of my low-end gpu, so expect better results if you have a better gpu in your zv5000. This ATI scored much better than a similar Hauppage USB TV in a PC World test.
