    Web Browsing w/o OS boot

    On the HP site it says you can go on the web without fully booting up the OS. I've seen my friend's vaio do this and think it's pretty useful for school. How can my envy do this? I see the f6 acts as an internet button but all that does is open up a new browser and (annoyingly) replaces my current page.

    not sure if they took hpquickweb out of the envy14 or not.


    it was in my launch early envy 14, but it apparently wasn't in the beats edition.

    You might need to enable it in the bios. My did it by itself one day, so I turned it off in the bios.

    The Envy 14 Beats Edition most definitely does not have QuickWeb or any instant-on functionality.
