Greetings - I finally got XPSP2 installed on my dv2000t - Thanks to djspl and WeAreNotAlone. But - now the webcam doesn't work correctly. I installed the webcam demo off of (a copy of) the C:\SwSetup folder - and downloaded/installed a Svc Pack (SP33544) from HP's webpage - but I still have a major problem. The Start menu has HP Webcam - but the only menu choice after the install is Uninstall HP Webcam (??). The demo works fine - the blue light lights up and the camera works - but only during the demo!! Somehow I have missed the app or something that allows the webcam feed to appear in (I think) an Int Explorer page. Part 2 is - has anyone installed the F.11 BIOS - any feedback out there? Any help would be appreciated - TIA/

See if you can access it under 'My Computer.'

    It should be listed there.

If it isn't, then someone else will have to field an answer, since that's all I know about the whole formatting/finding the webcam.

Sorry, I may not be much help to you here. I am running Vista, and AFAIK, right now there is no way to get that "feed" in Vista. However, I assumed that the webcam program in SwSetup\Misc5 installs the driver and the "feed viewer". There is no setup program in that folder but there are two different programs that I assume need to be installed, one for the driver, and one for the program.

Someone with XP I would hope could help you more here.
