Anyone know a workaround for the HP webcams and facebook or other flash applications? I have no problem accessing my webcam through the supplied software, but any online flash software seems to access the camera for a second (light turns blue), then the light turns off and it fails to connect.

The computer does have a TV tuner as well, and I have made sure that my camera is the camera selected.

Do you know which manufacturer made your webcam?

See if there are any updated drivers on the HP website aswell

The webcam just says "HP webcam" on the casing, I'll check to see if the device manager has anything more to say about it.

EDIT: the webcam is by HP. I'll look for a newer driver, this driver is showing a 2006 development date!!

EDIT2: There is no new driver and HP's support line doesn't have any problems documented. I think that they just need to write a new driver...
