    Webcam being used by another application?

    Im on a macbook pro and when i try to video chat with two of my friends, both who have hp laptops (one a 6000t the other a 2500t i think) they can see me and we can hear each other but i cant see them. thy get an error message that says the camera is being used by another application. is there somethign that has to be turned off on an hp for aim to use the camera to video chat?

    no, just broke ass hp camera drivers.

    my friend did this and now under device manager she has acer crystal eye with a ! in a yellow sign next to it and when she clicks on it it says "this device cannot start". the error on aim was ATTENTION (10:06:02 PM): Video session initiated.
    ATTENTION (10:06:02 PM): You do not have a camera.

    now what?

    EDIT: she got it back somehow to the original problem are there any other fixes?
