On my dv6t 6b00 the hd truevision hd webcam is like pitch black. Only things visible is a light shining at it. Any fix to this? I tried changing exposure and all and it worked but once I close the settings window and close the program and re-open, it goes back to dark..

    Hey,
I had the same problem of webcam gone too dark with only shining objects visible.
As suggested by Dr.Bass change the Camera Setting(find it somewhere...i found it in my FastAccess Camera Control) of Exposure to AUTO and then all works fine.

    Cheers,

    Chian G.

I have the same problem in Skype. Is that setting for Skype/chat app or the webcam control panel? I am unable to find any webcam control panel that came with the laptop.
