I'm using a HP Pavilion dv7-6154ea and I seem to be getting weird fps problems with playing games, such as tf2, my fps is at 11 even though my gpu is fixed instead of dynamic and it is set on high performance. However what's weird is that when I set the gpu to power saving gpu my fps for tf2 turns to the 50's area which seems kind of strange. Is there any way of fixing this problem.

Sorry if this post doesn't seem too concise but that's how I could describe it.
