Happens on factory drivers i think.
    Try updating them.

So you sure that its happening on def. drivers? And not some kind of gpu defect?

I am running on factory drivers and have not had any trouble with the drivers. So you might want to test out the gpu or try to see if it does it again and it might be a defect or not sure. But I have had mine almost 2 months.

Run Unigine Heaven for a an hour or so and see if it happens again... If if does send it back for a refund or repair.

It could be either one. If rebooting fixes it, chances are that it is the drivers. If it ever happens again, try going to the BIOS and see whether the issue persists -- if it does, then you've probably got a hardware problem. Right now, I would say that it is more likely to be the drivers.
