    WRA,

It's okay, we'll still consider you a geek around these parts [ ;)]

Hey, anyone that walks into a store and just can't resist buying a computer because it has so much appeal is still a geek in anyone's book. And the fact that you immediately started configuring and tweaking the notebook and constantly think about ways to keep it running cool....well, makes you a geek.

    enjoy the zd7000!

    Hehe,
First congrads on getting the monster of a machine zd7000. I just got mine in the mail yesterday and you can't beat all this screen realestate. I have to open two browsers at a time just so I don't have to look at the emptiness on the right side of my screen.

I must be a geek like you because I started of thinking of ways to help with the cooling even before I bought it. I like your simple idea of just adding rubber feet (opposed of cooling pads with fans or pads without fans, ect...). This surely makes you more of a geek then me since I am thinking of stealing your idea (unless you copyright it before I get a chance).

Keep us up to date on your new home heating system :)

Also WRA111100 what rubber feet did you add? Are they anything special, or did you just go to your local store and pick up just any?
