I accidentally dropped some water at my hp dm3 keyboard. I turned it upside down and later I have it removed and let it dry for one night. No damage was done to the rest of the computer (there is a plastic film covering the bottom of the keyboard) but several keys are not working. Is there anything else I can do or is the keyboard dead?

    Thanks

p.s.: writing with the virtual keyboard sux!

You're probably going to have to replace the keyboard.

Model 1020EF. Does anyone knows if it is possible to remove this chiclet keys without damaging the mechanisms. I think there is still some stuck between the plastic and the board.

I'd personally prefer to switch out the entire module. That way nothing is in question.

Yeah, but if I am going to buy a new one it may worth a try.

Definitely worth a try. But if anything goes awry, it's best to replace the entire module. Give it a go and see where you are afterwards. ;)
