    Hi

    My HP envy 14 2000ea has died and HP have said that changing the HDD 1 year ago is classed as tampering with the notebook. I now need to buy exactly the same HDD as it came with but no longer have it.

    Please can someone tell me the make and model they come with (I'm in the UK if this makes any difference).

    Hitachi 7K750 500GB. You need to buy a HP HDD with HP part number. You may buy an old spoilt HDD for this purpose.
