I have read on many threads that you can disable which programs dont run at start up. What is MSCONFIG and how do you use it as a tool to disable programs from running when you start up?

It's a great little windows-app. Just press start ---> run and type msconfig

There will be a tab named start. Just choose which programs you want to run at start-up... Easy
