Can someone please post what speed of ram is being put in by HP/Compaq for Core 2 Duo laptops?

    is it
    DDR2 400 = PC3200
    DDR2 533 = PC4000
    DDR2 677 = PC5300

Since it has a 667Mhz Bus they should put in DDR2 667.

    Thanks.

If you're customizing one, I would always recommend buying the lowest amount possible and then upgrading from NewEgg or some other site with more RAM. So, even if they shortchange you with slower memory, you can get better stuff to put in it, :)

That being said, I think they put the 667mhz memory in all notebooks that can take it. Most, anyway.
