I mean after opening what should i do? A lot of users on here write that I should make backup system discs. I dont know how to do that. It also says I should re-install a fresh version of Vista. I dont know what that means either. So I was wondering if somebody out there could explain to me what they would do after their laptop arrives. Thanks, in advance.

Did your PC come with a reinstallation disk? If so I don't think you'll have to make system backup discs. They're too complicated IMO. Just make sure that after you boot Windows, uninstall any junk the computer came with and install antivirus software.

Now this uninstalling. Is that the same as unistalling any software in XP. I have XP right now so I'm not very familiar with Vista
