What are your thoughts on changing the Front Bezel of the DV2K and V3K

I was thinking of changing the front bezel on the DV2000 and put it on the V3000. I rather have the V3000, but i really want a built in webcam, i was thinking of getting both and swaping it out. What do you guys think? you guys think its possible? The real difference between the two is the looks, webcam and dvd quickplay, and thats about it. Honestly just thinking about the quick play buttons right now i can probably swap that out too with the motherboard. man, as im writing this now, Im thinking i should minus well try to swap boot up bios too, but there would probably be a conflict with the bios.

So, What do you guys think?

 

Getting rid of you V3000 and getting the one you want seems like a better option.

 

I was wondering if its possible too? Im pretty use to take things apart. so it isnt much of a big deal about take the thing apart. Just curious if there is a connector for the webcam on the V3000. btw i dont have any of the laptops yets.

 

Then why not just get the one you want.

 

I just realize you cant, since the HP indents in at the hinge area while the compaq doesnt.

I Wanted the V3000 with a we cam, but they dont offer it.

 

If your return period is over, just sell it on Ebay and put it toward your new dv2000 .
