What are your thoughts on the DV4-3100 or dv6-6100 ? (Japanese versions)

Hello everybody !

After 5 years of service, my HP NC8430 (professional) broke down and I'm looking for a new computer. I read that the audio on the recent pro line models wasn't that great and I really use my laptop for multimedia (movies, music) so I thought about going more mainstream this time > Pavilion (even though I loved the matte screen and the build quality of the NC8430).

Being in Japan, the choice in avialable HP is quite scarce but if you could give me your opinion on 2 models that'd be great :

Any thoughts on those 2 models ? I haven't set my mind on a size yet but those are 2 models I'm very interested in.

 

I would personally like the first model if I wanted a portable yet powerful machine. And the fact that you save 350 dollars.

Although the second one has a better processor you probably wont notice it. The only real big pro about the second one is the 1080p screen. If you feel that you want an insanely big resolution, and want to keep the laptop as a desk pc, then the second one is a good purchase.

Although I would personally go for the first one, its cheaper ,pretty powerful, and more mobile.
